At the beginning of 2000, there was extra pressure from children and young people to be on stage in Olav Engelbrektsson. With this in mind, the Opera School was launched in 2001. The aim was to make high quality performing arts available to children and young people, and at the same time motivate them to take further steps in the field.
For 20 years, Opera Trøndelag's Opera School has been a musical hotbed for children and young people throughout Trøndelag.
One of the goals is that the experience and ballast from the Opera School will be useful no matter what role you take on later in life. A large proportion of students who have attended the Opera School have chosen to train as singers. Several of them can now be found on stages both at home and abroad.
I The anniversary performance much of the repertoire is based on prune delivered by the Opera School over the years. In addition, we have invited former students to participate in the celebration.
What they all have in common is that the joy of the world of opera and music is still a big part of them.
With today's Opera School students and students from previous years, we look forward to delivering a terrific festive performance!
The audience is presented with a reunion with highlights from previous years and a bubbly Opera school serving up gems and show tunes from the world of opera and musicals. From Les Miserables to Matilda.
