Food & Music during Trøndersk Matfestival

In the centre of Norway lies an area that has received something completely unique from nature. Something completely unique in terms of soil, climate and ocean currents. Opera Trøndelag participates in the opening at the Britannia Hotel, where the Minister of Agriculture and Food, Sandra Borck, will also be present. She will present the Product of the Year awards in nine different categories and SpareBanK1 SMN's Sustainability Award.

Food and Music

Bitannia Hotell, Matriket Midt, Trondheimsolistene and Opera Trøndelag have joined forces to create a unique occasion. Experience Trøndelag through food and music. Trøndelag is at the top of the world in both food and music with awards from both Michelin and Grammy. We want to celebrate our international success with a programme that clearly draws the lines between our two art forms. This will be a unique dining experience where sous chef Nils Flatmark has put together a four-course menu, and a quintet from the Trondheim Soloists will provide the music that goes with each dish.
