"The Marriage of Figaro" by W.A. Mozart - a guest performance from Opera di Setra.
Sunday 16 August at 18.00 at Ersgard
Count Almaviva, with his wife the Countess, is going on an all-inclusive farm holiday. He has brought his servants, Figaro and Susanna. They are to be married on the farm and arrangements are being made for the wedding, but there are many problems. The Count has strong feelings for his servant Susanna and tries his utmost to meet her privately. An intricate comedy full of misunderstandings, only to be enjoyed with beautiful music and cream porridge and drinks. The Marriage of Figaro is perhaps Mozart's greatest work, here in an abridged and very popular version.
