Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's comic opera about relationships and cohabitation where love is put under the microscope.
Young talents from NTNU perform an exuberant and modern version of Mozart's comic opera "Così fan tutte" where the action is set in modern times - in Norwegian! The famous opera contains everything an opera should have; drama, humour, beautiful music, boundless love and betrayal.
The radar pair Mozart and da Ponte
Così fan tutte was originally called "a school for lovers", which is still the subtitle. This was Mozart's last collaboration with the librettist Lorenzo da Ponte - the two were a radar pair that would change the history of opera forever. Behind them were the successes The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni. Così fan tutte was one of Mozart's last works and shows a mature musical genius - then as now.
